We'll convene next to the picnic tables. If it's busy, we'll move to the side of the park south of S Judkins St.

Olympic Sculpture Park is located just two blocks from the picturesque Seattle waterfront. We recommend our guests who arrive early to enjoy a leisurely stroll along the Elliott Bay Trail.

Driving & Parking: Please be aware that you will be driving into downtown Seattle during rush hour. Allow ample time for traffic and parking. Street parking on Western Ave is sometimes available. There are also garages nearby including one at the venue.

Suggested Attire: Formal / semi-formal or ethnic wear. Please prioritize comfort: suits, slacks, and saris are all welcome. For example, slacks and a collared shirt, a suit, a pantsuit, a summer dress, or evening gown are all suitable.

No Gifts Please

The opportunity to celebrate our wedding with you is the best gift we could wish for. We have no space for other gifts at either the wedding venue or our home. If you wish to share something with us, please send us photos of you doing something fun in Seattle this weekend. As we may not have time to take everyone out for activities around Seattle, we would appreciate a memory of your time here - some options follow.

Seattle

There are plenty of the "usual" spots to try - e.g., the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Chihuly Garden and Glass. Visit Seattle has a good list.

There are some events happening that weekend that may interest you:

BrickCon (Bellevue) – Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 10am-4pm, for fans of LEGO.
Ukranian Festival (Bellevue) – Saturday.
Hawaiian Festival (Seattle) – Sunday 11am-7pm
Art Uncorked (Mercer Island) – Saturday 3-7pm.
Cider Summit (Seattle) – Friday 3-8pm and Saturday 12-5pm.
Hydroplane Racing (Angle Lake) – Saturday + Sunday 10:30am-6pm

Here are a few additional recommendations from us:

Homer – Mediterranean inspired dishes with local ingredients.
Lupo – sourdough pizza. Humble Pie – another great pizzeria out of a shipping container.
Umi Sake House – eclectic sushi.
Kathakali – in Kirkland, but it's the only good South Indian place in town.
Spinnaker – bean-to-bar craft chocolate and they also offer a fun chocolate making tour for $10!
Dough Zone – dumplings that are just as tasty as Din Tai Fung with shorter lines and at less cost.
Smith Tower – try out the Observatory Bar at the top! Another good observatory is at Seattle's tallest building, the Columbia Tower.
Seattle Aquarium – has its new Ocean Pavilion open when you visit.
The Museum of Flight – for the flight fans. A little further north there is also the Boeing factory tour.

p.s. The "first Starbucks" is very skippable. It's not even the first Starbucks location.
